What basic electricity means

Before you start

Working: Metals like copper allow electric current to flow easily.

Common mistakes to avoid

Thinking all metals are insulators. Remember that many metals, such as copper, conduct electricity well.
Mixing up the battery and the switch. The battery gives electrical energy, while the switch controls the circuit.
Forgetting that a broken circuit stops current. An open switch means the path is not complete.
Using water or wet hands as if they are safe. Keep electricity away from wet places and damaged wires.
