Before you start

You should already know the names of common forms of water, such as liquid and water vapour. You should also be comfortable reading simple sentences about heat, cooling and rainfall.

Common mistakes to avoid

Confusing evaporation with condensation; remember evaporation is rising vapour, not cloud formation.
Thinking clouds are made of smoke or dust only; they form from tiny water droplets.
Calling every cloudy day climate; weather changes quickly, while climate is the usual pattern.
Forgetting that precipitation means water falls from clouds, not water rising into the sky.
