You practise reading data and choosing the right summary measure for a set of numbers. This helps you compare scores, spot the centre of a list, and judge simple chance questions with confidence.
You should be comfortable with basic addition, division, and ordering numbers from smallest to largest. It also helps to know simple fractions and how to count outcomes.
